Neptune III Basic is OCEAN REEF’s entry-level, simple, and reliable full-face diving mask with integrated vertical body balanced second stage regulator.

Technical specifications

  • Second Stage Regulator: Vertical, body balanced - Neptune III regulator delivers amazingly smooth “silk-like” breathing at any depth. Cold-water CE certified for full-face use.
  • The Neptune III air circulation system: designed to minimize fogging and reduce the amount of CO and CO2 build-up.
  • The silicone oral-nasal pocket: built with two one-way valves through which air is inhaled.
  • 3D Equalization System: The Neptune III is equipped with a patented internal device to close the nostrils and allow underwater equalization. Patented design 3-way directional adjustment system (up/down, wide/narrow, close/far) to push the mask towards the face when needed causes the plugs to create a nasal seal.
  • Purge Button: it manually releases a strong flow of air through the regulator to quickly expel any water that has entered the mask.
  • Face Seal: patented bellows double “S”, “spring profile”, skirt. Super comfort thanks to the “floating effect” on the face.
  • Visor: Transparent polycarbonate with both sides coated in siloxane resin for improved scratch, chemical resistance and a better light transfer. Impact resistance tested by STANAG 4296 standards: impact of a steel ball traveling at 540 kph (335 mph).
  • Field of vision: Larger field of vision than competitors (italcert Certification PPE-05 Rif 1332/05).
  • Head Harness: six straps meaning no risk of losing reg if unconscious or violently hit.
  • Fast rotating buckle system: for comfortable and quick doffing and donning on the surface and secure, fast operations during underwater bail out or wearing.

Safety

With the Neptune III Basic, losing your regulator is no longer a risk—the second stage is fully integrated into the mask, ensuring continuous access to air in every situation, also if unconscious. Moreover when equipped with OCEAN REEF communication systems, the Neptune III allows you to talk to your dive buddies or even with the surface, ensuring an extra layer of safety in case of emergency.The full-face design also protects your face from potential harmful substances in the water.

Size Guide

The Neptune III is available in two sizes, Small/Medium and Medium/Large. It is essential to choose a suitable size. You can choose between size S/M (for adults with smaller faces,
women and children over 12 years old) and size M/L (for an adult male, or larger faces).
Measure the distance between the bridge at the top of your nose and the bottom of your chin.
• Choose size S/M if it is BETWEEN (3,9”) 10 cm and (4.5”) 11.5 cm.
• Choose size M/L if it is MORE than (4.5”) 11.5 cm.
There are two different size categories on the chart: Small/Medium and Medium/Large. If the measurements
fall within the both ranges, then the diver should technically be able to wear either full face mask (M/L or
S/M), and in that case should try on a mask to select the best fit. Once the mask is tight on your face, if there is NO SPACE between your chin and
the silicone skirt of the mask, you’ve got the right size.
