GSM Mercury is OCEAN REEF’s latest-generation underwater ultrasonic communication unit for Integrated Diving Masks (IDMs). It blends the best of prior models into a compact, foldable module with dual earphones, clear digital audio, DAT hands‑free mode, and a rechargeable/replaceable battery. It mounts exclusively on masks equipped with the OCEAN REEF Extender Frame.

• Triple-mode communications:
  • Wireless ultrasonic: always-on receive on Channel 1; PTT to transmit on Channel 1 (31.768 kHz).
  • Hardwired full-duplex: connect to ALPHA PRO X DIVERS surface unit for hands‑free, simultaneous talk/listen.
  • VHF interface capable: connect to a dedicated surface VHF radio via separate interfacing kit and waterproof bag.
• Underwater plug-and-play cabling: six‑pin waterproof connector allows connecting/detaching the cable underwater.
• Permanent wireless receive: unit is always listening on Channel 1; PTT activates transmission.
• D‑Mic dynamic microphone with hydrophobic membrane: clear voice, bubble‑noise reduction, robust membrane withstands >14.7 PSI differential.
• NACS adjustable mount: comfortable, adjustable positioning on OCEAN REEF Space/Neptune masks.
• Serviceable battery compartment with O‑ring seal and replaceable 9V alkaline battery.
